Kevin and Brooke Minton are Lowcountry natives and parents to two busy girls and two active Australian shepherds. They enjoy an on-the-go lifestyle of exercising, boating, enjoying their beloved town and traveling to experience new places in their off time. Kevin owns and operates multiple businesses in Beaufort and the surrounding areas, and Brooke has been a local radiologic technologist with a medical assisting background since obtaining her degree in 2018. Both share the common interest of providing exceptional customer service and support to local needs. The love for spoiling their pups and the desperate need for modernized dog care in Beaufort created their desire to provide a luxury pet resort to the area.
Edward and Keller Welch moved to the Lowcountry in 2011 to start their young lives as newlyweds which evolved into the creation of multiple local businesses and adding three children along the way. They’re animal lovers and entrepreneurs, so after viewing the building when the concept of Posh Pooch was brought to them by the Minton’s, they knew they wanted to jump in 100% and haven’t looked back. Their children enjoy dog sitting and walking, so they’ll be very pleased to spend time with the pampered dogs at Posh Pooch! The Welch family additionally loves a good beach day, any day spent in the water and escaping to The Bahamas when they can.
The Minton’s and Welch’s both come from a construction and design background and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from attention to detail to relationship building. Kevin and Edward have a history of partnership on projects in the past and look forward to growing in another business venture together. Equally as eager, Brooke and Keller have many fun themes and local partnership opportunities they can’t wait to put into action on this project. Focused on a modern approach, they’re each committed to offering a holistic canine experience, made possible through an opulent wellness environment in a facility that prioritizes communication, safety and fun.
